Which devices are compatible with The Bit tracker and app?

The Bit will work on most recently released phones and tablets. The only requirement needed on your phone or tablet is low energy Bluetooth and the ability to download and use Apple, Android or Windows apps. Here's a list of Bluetooth devices that work with The Bit tracker. Fell free to email us to clarify if The Bit app will work on your device.
We recommend that these devices are used with the latest operating systems available.


In which countries is The Bit app available?

The Bit tracker and The Bit app are available globally! But please note our apps are only available in English for Apple, Windows or Android.


Where can I download The Bit app?

The Bit app for Android devices is in the final stages and currently isn't listed in the Google Play store. The app should be ready by the time you receive your tracker, if not shortly after. All customers will receive an email to let them know when the Android app is available for download.


How much is international shipping for The Bit?

The Bit tracker is shipped to every country in the world with a flat rate shipping fee of $9(USD). This means that it doesn't matter how many Bit trackers you buy, you'll only pay $9 for shipping.


How long will it take for me to receive my Bit tracking device?

We ship from Australia and the standard international shipping time is 3-10 working days. Deliveries within Australia should arrive in 2-3 working days. Due to overwhelming demand we aren't currently taking any new orders.

We currently don't offer express shipping but if you need The Bit to be express shipped, feel free to contact us by email and we will do our best to make it happen.


Are there additional fees, taxes or duty costs?

No, we include all costs in the $9 shipping charge.


Can I use The Bit tracking device when I'm on a plane?

Allowances differ from airline to airline, so it's best to ask to be certain. In most cases airlines say it’s okay, as long as it is not coming from a device with a sim-card in it - meaning your Bit device itself, is fine to stay live and connected to your luggage, passport etc.

How do I recharge The Bit tracker?

As The Bit tracker is sealed to be 100% waterproof there currently is no recharge function. The Bit has a battery life of 12-18 months.
